Not just in Thailand, ask anyone in any of the remaining nine Asean member countries. And does anyone realise what the "Asean identity" means? It's said that naming the 10 Asean members can be a difficult task for quite a number of people. Given all those historical time bombs and new challenges, I would say, what Asean members have done -- or have tried to do -- so far is not so bad. The Asean community, in my opinion, is a chance for people in this region to heighten contact, and boost what is known as people-to-people diplomacy.
